Solar is for Everyone develops climate-resilient homes and properties for the most vulnerable in our society in a cost-effective manner, utilizing advanced construction techniques such as insulated concrete forms (ICF) to create strong, energy-efficient structures for people from all walks of life. Some examples include retirement or assisted-living multi-residential units and community structures that serve those in need—spaces designed to remain safe, comfortable, and operational even during extreme weather or grid disruptions. All of these structures are powered by solar and battery-backup systems to keep their occupants safe during emergency events, ensuring continued access to essential energy when the grid fails.
HOW DO WE DO IT
Solar is for Everyone makes it possible for individuals and corporations to directly support the nonprofits and causes they care about through the gift of clean energy. Donations are pooled and directed toward installing solar and battery storage systems on facilities that serve our communities — including affordable housing, food banks, medical clinics, homeless shelters, addiction recovery centers, and social service organizations.
WHY WE DO IT
By empowering these nonprofits to generate their own renewable power, we not only reduce their operating costs but also cut harmful fossil fuel emissions. Each installation extends the life of our planet just a little longer — giving humanity, and all living beings who already call Earth home, a better chance at a sustainable future.

#1 – CAPE of Evansville: Container Home Project
CAPE of Evansville: Container Home Project
CAPE (Community Action Program of Evansville) is currently building two innovative container homes in Evansville, Indiana to provide affordable, sustainable housing for low-income families. Your donation to this cause will help fund the installation of solar and battery storage systems on these homes—reducing the long-term energy burden caused by rising electricity costs in Southwest Indiana. These systems will also provide backup power during grid outages, protecting residents and ensuring stability in times of need.
Solar is for Everyone (SIFE) has already proudly donated and installed solar + battery systems on four CAPE homes in Evansville, demonstrating the power of partnership and community-driven change. These projects stand as living examples of what’s possible when compassion meets clean energy.
